Well handicapped on his maiden win here when giving weight to a Godolphin hotpot. Disappointed on turf next time when sent off favourite and that has earned a drop in the weights. He comes from a family of AW winners and this gives him a huge chance to bounce back. Rider 14-60 for the yard on AW tracks.

Verdict

Team Meeting, Cajmere and Beach Dancer all had plenty of use made of them last time. Team Meeting makes most appeal from that trio with a jockey employed who has impressive strike rate for the yard. Nevertheless, his latest effort is asking a lot for him to defy a 6lb rise and the vote goes to SPARKALOT. Simon Dow's charge landed a maiden here on his second start and that is an effort which suggests he is attractively weighted. A subsequent defeat on turf is discounted as his pedigree suggests artificial surfaces will suit best. The champion jockey is on board and makes his claims even more attractive.
