Went very well when beaten just 1L over C&D (good to firm) last time and should remain very competitive on ground that he handles and from 2lb higher. Claims.
Won a Chelmsford maiden over this trip in July, though yet to run to that level of form in two handicaps from marks of 85 and 84. Dropped a further 3lb for this and dam relished getting her toe in, so hope that she will handle the ground and could go very well if headgear has a positive effect.
C&D winner (good) on his sole start to date, last September when he beat an 80-rated runner by just over 1L. Likely that there will be a fair bit more to come now handicapping and the handicapper has not been hard on him. Dam won on soft ground. Very interesting.
Won a soft ground Windsor maiden on debut (5f) and added to that at Nottingham later on last season (5f, good to soft) from a mark of 77. Races today from the same mark as when beaten just a nose at Windsor last time (5f, soft) and is unexposed over this trip, with just one try, so has to enter calculations.
Another debut scorer, in his case at Bath (5f, soft) last season. Not yet able to hack it in handicaps, though showed a bit more at York last time and a 1lb drop won't harm. Needs to find a bit more though to be winning this.
Landed a Wolverhampton maiden (6f, AW) in October before being gelded and changing yards. Last of seven, beaten 10½L at Ayr on his reappearance/stable debut last month from today's mark, so clearly needs to show plenty more than that to figure.
Placed in two maidens before coming good at the first attempt in handicaps when scoring at Nottingham (6f, soft) last time. Raised 6lb for that, but again has his conditions plus top pilot on board and ought to be capable of a bold showing.
Scored in maiden company at Newcastle (6f, AW) in September but no significant impact in four handicaps, largely on testing ground, so far. Certainly on a workable mark now, so money for him would be interesting, though otherwise probably best watched.
Finished a 3¾L fifth behind Fantasy Keeper at Nottingham and is now 8lb better off with that reopposing rival. Remains difficult to win with, however, despite the paperwork suggesting that she will finish closer this time.

Forecasts
Fantasy Keeper (10/3), Full Intention (4/1), Awesome Allan (9/2), Pennsylvania Dutch (5/1), Haworth (9/1), Stoneyford Lane (10/1), Savannah's Dream (10/1), Man About Town (12/1), Maakaasib (14/1), Desperados Destiny (20/1), Bellevarde (25/1)
Full Intention should be capable of going very close from top weight as the class act in the contest, while Savannah's Dream, Maakaasib and Fantasy Keeper are others with claims in a competitive event. Nonethless, the suggestion is handicap newcomer PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH, as we know he goes well at the track, he looks to have been given a mark that he can handle and whose dam having won on soft ground gives cause for optimism that he will handle conditions.
- Pennsylvania Dutch
- Full Intention
- Maakaasib
