Half-brother to Showtime Star who won five AW races for this yard. Makes debut on this surface having showed significant improvement from his debut. That race at Yarmouth lacked depth and he may have more to do here.
Two runs so far over shorter and outpaced both times. This looks potentially tougher and trainer just 5-137 around here.

Cost ÂŁ90,000 as a yearling. Dam was unraced but was related to a couple of Listed winners. Has improved with each run and gets an extra furlong to tackle here which would appear suitable. Sets the standard on form.

Gelded son of Nayef, the first foal of a useful 6f/7f all-weather winner. Trainer 4-5 with this age group here this year and clearly of interest with the yard going well.

Champs Elysees half-sister to Listed winner Lustrous amongst others. Probably saw too much daylight on debut when racing too freely and finishing down the field. Easy to back that day and a hood now fitted. Would be interesting if supported with yard 5-13 in past fortnight.

Well held in two maiden races so far this year including at Windsor a fortnight ago. Likely to fare better in handicaps in time.

Tadween (5/6), Yaarmen (7/4), Luminous (8/1), Pastime (14/1), Shamonix (200/1), Striking For Gold (200/1)

Verdict

Tadween sets the standard in this for a yard who do reasonably well with their runners here. The form of his latest race has taken a few knocks and he could be vulnerable to the newcomer YAARMEN. His trainer has an 80 percent strike rate here this season with this age group and his dam was useful on AW surfaces. The son of Nayef would not have to be anything special to make a winning debut. Luminous and Pastime are the pick of the rest.
