Trainer and jockey have had some luck lately. Remains hard to see this one adding to their tally having shown clear signs of temperament last time. Headgear goes back on in an attempt to halt a 14 race losing streak.
C&D winner in February who has run well off this mark on last two starts. Looks sure to be in the thick of the action once more.
Triple winner who seems better suited to 6f nowadays. Can be excused his last two starts and beginning to look leniently treated. Best recent efforts have been on turf but has been placed here previously.
Given a confident ride when coming from last to first to comfortably score at Chelmsford. Looked to have more than enough in hand to defy a 6lb penalty.
Has plenty to find with Seneca Chief on running at Chelmsford last week. That was his best effort of the campaign but still needs that rival to encounter trouble in order to reverse placings.
20-race maiden who appears to be one of the tougher assignments his trainer has taken on. Had posted some respectable efforts until running poorly two weeks ago.
On a losing streak of 17 and has been finding little under pressure of late. Ran above this mark in a claimer last time when helping to set a scorching pace. If that form could be trusted he would take some catching under a rider who knows this circuit well.
Has made the frame once in 23 starts. Yard had a winner last week but otherwise hard to be enthusiastic about his prospects.
No show in three maidens and on handicap debut last week. Has almost 10L to find with Seneca Chief and hard to see where that improvement lies.

Forecasts
Dandilion (2/1), Seneca Chief (5/2), Something Lucky (7/1), Mostashreqah (17/2), Chandresh (9/1), Justice Rock (10/1), Percy Toplis (14/1), Essaka (18/1), Barnsdale (33/1), Artsteelwork (100/1)
With Mostashreqah likely to set a strong pace as he did last week there is a danger he could just last home over this shorter trip. However, he did drop away tamely in that claimer against higher rated rivals and the form may flatter him. SENECA CHIEF was an impressive winner on the same card when making up several lengths up the home straight to score pulling away. A repeat of that effort would be good enough to defy a penalty before the handicapper gets a chance to reassess him. Percy Toplis, who chased him home that day is entitled to be somewhat closer here, whilst Dandilion will give her usual honest account.
- Seneca Chief
- Dandilion
- Percy Toplis
