Has found some form the spring and followed up a game win at Exeter with another solid effort at Warwick, making the favourite pull out all the stops. Needs ground to stay good but not out of this if continuing in same vein.
Did it well enough at Fontwell on latest start, and would clearly handle any rain based on that, but that form would need improving on if he's to take a hand here.
Second to Decade Player on this card last year but form since not so good, and although this is easier than the Cheltenham contest he raced in last time out (pulled up after weakening quickly) looks to have a bit too much on his plate here.
Finished behind Mr Sawyer when then were both behind Decade Player at this meeting last year, and best efforts arguably come at a shorter trip than this, but reasonable efforts last two outings and not discounted in first-time cheekpieces.
Hasn't won a point-to-point since 2014 and recent efforts fall a long way short of what's required here. Others preferred.
Not a bad handicap chaser for Emma Lavelle at his best, but has ground to make up on Curraigflemens on their Fontwell run last time. Some rain might help his cause, and if building on that effort, isn't without hope.
Won a minor event at Cocklebarrow in April but form has taken a turn for the worse since, and he can't really be considered a likely winner here.
Has won around here in the past, and this sort of trip on good ground should suit (does handle it softer). Recent form poor, and well beaten latest, needs to bounce back to very best to hold any chance here.

Forecasts
Duke Of Lucca (2/1), Curraigflemens (11/4), Mr Satco (3/1), Sam Cavallaro (7/2), Tugboat (8/1), Swallowshide (9/1), Mr Sawyer (9/1), Driftwood Pride (10/1), Cab On Times (33/1)
One of only a couple of handicap point-to-points throughout the season, and it can fall to top weight DUKE OF LUCCA if jumping fluently. He holds a class advantage over most of these and as long as there's not too much rain around, looks the one to beat on his latest run. If the rain did fall, Curraigflemens and Swallowshide, 1-2 at Fontwell recently, might both go well. Sam Cavallero is another to consider in a wide open race for the places.
- Duke Of Lucca
- Curraigflemens
- Swallowshide
