Couple of decent efforts among his eight bumper starts so far, the best coming at Down Royal last August when a close up third but even the best of his form leaves him with something to find here.
Didn't run badly in fifth of 18 over C&D recently on return from layoff, may build on that though does need to improve.
Yet to win in 17 outings so far including five under rules. Beaten 15L in a point-to-point five days ago and rules form suggests a watching brief.
First attempt in this sphere brought a 15L defeat at Punchestown last month, has room for improvement here and needs it.
Finished 5½L third of 18 in C&D event last month, has some credible efforts in six bumper starts and could feature again.
Ran well on first two bumpers including when fourth on debut at Thurles (good) in October last year. Decent effort against last month at Limerick when 10L third of seven.
Best effort (of six) in bumpers came around this time last year at Tramore when close third of 13 on good ground. Hasn't exactly been consistent in this sphere or tackling hurdles since.

Closely matched with Beeper's Ruby on last month's Punchestown run, hints of ability in two outings at that track recently but needs another step forward.
Beaten 59L in a 2m Fairyhouse bumper on testing ground in December on debut and not seen since. Market may guide expectation levels for this return.
Failed to complete all 3 starts in point-to-points, most recently on Sunday and appears to be carrying modest hopes into this rules debut.
Mare ran a fine race on debut at Kilbeggan when 3L fifth of 14 over 2m3f on good ground. Dropped to 2m at Wexford 34 days ago and unable to repeat the trick so is at the drawing board for now.
Gold Well filly cost 4,000 as a 3yo, stamina may prove an attribute in time but could have a say in this on debut and worth a look in the betting as a guide.
Beat Hollow filly is closely related to a couple of winners and will merit maximum respect in a contest like this give connections supreme record in the sphere.
Scorpion filly from a small stable, was well beaten off in maiden hurdles at Cork and Punchestown already, switches to bumpers now with a bit to prove.
Kalanisi filly whose dam was a winner over 1m3f and she is a half-sister to useful chaser Regal Exit. Represents powerful connections for this debut run and goes on the shortlist as such.

Court Cave filly doesn't make as much appeal on breeding as some of the other newcomer and is wearing a tongue strap for this debut run, will be a surprise to see her winning.

Well beaten off so far over hurdles at Navan and Wexford over 2m, needs to improve for switch to bumpers.

Forecasts

Magical Miss (6/4), Tadhgs Girl (4/1), Glebe Girl (7/1), Scotch Beg (8/1), Tara Mia (10/1), Mozilla (14/1), Welmeetintheoffice (16/1), Beeper's Ruby (16/1), Like An Open Book (20/1), Around The Pound (25/1), Sorrel Sue (33/1), Amarillo Rose (33/1), Wild Desire (50/1), Aunty Kitty (66/1), Sizeable Sting (66/1), Clear View (66/1), The Flying Calzone (66/1)

Verdict

Those with form do not set any kind of exacting standard, with the C&D third of Clear View perhaps the best on offer, alongside moderately promising efforts from Around The Pound and Glebe Girl, so it may prove to focus on the newcomers. The leading jumps yards are both represented and it may be that MAGICAL MISS and Tadhgs Girl are best equipped for the job. The former, representing the champion trainer, is well-bred and could easily prove up to this level on debut. The latter is also appealing on paper for Jamie Codd and might come off best should this turn into a sprint.
  1. Magical Miss
  2. Tadhgs Girl
  3. Clear View
