Losing run stands at 19 now, but two most recent efforts over fences have been promising and can play a role again in this.
Zero from six over these obstacles, handicap debut at Punchestown (2m4f, soft) didn't bring any sign of improvement and looks best watched for now.
Three-time point-to-point scorer, unable to open account in four starts over regulations fences though did run well last time in a Hunters Chase at Killarney (2m6f, soft to heavy) and now makes handicap chase debut.
Sustained a heavy fall when last seen at Cork 35 days ago over hurdles. Comes back after a short break given that mishap and has done all his previous winning (3/23) over these obstacles. Bit to find on the formbook however.
Still a maiden and not a great deal of encouragement gleaned in six starts over fences. Pulled up on return to action at Punchestown nine days ago and has plenty improvement to find.
Doesn't win many (2/31) and yet to score over fences. May have needed recent return to action over 2m (good) at this track. Has shown some promise over fences and interesting contender now going handicapping for the first time in this sphere.
Three-time point-to-point winner and successful in one hunter chase. Running respectably at present and is one to be put in the mix on this handicap chase debut.
Scored over hurdles, one from two in that sphere, but signs of ability have been limited so far over these obstacles and others make plenty more appeal for this handicap chase bow.
A winner at Towcester last November but most disappointing back at that venue in May, finishing a well beaten last of three (went off favourite). Moderate effort last time out and a bit to prove now with winner Aranhill Rascal.
Off the mark at the 21st time of asking last time out at Limerick over 2m3f, perhaps fortuitous when chief rival fell two out but might have won regardless and can't be discounted despite ratings hike.
Long-standing maiden did show some promise in early skirmishes over fences but that was in 2015 and nothing to write home about since. Well beaten in two races over hurdles this year, hard to fancy in this.
Winner over this sort of trip at Killarney on reappearance (good) and since gone well enough again from new mark at Tramore (good to firm), has plenty on his plate but certainly deserves to be considered on that form.
Beat just a single rival home at Tramore 60 days ago, nothing in the formbook to merit support currently.
Looks regressive and a hint of temperament has crept into his work in five starts this year over fences. Makes handicap chase debut with first-time cheekpieces applied but would need a leap of faith to see him involved in the finish.
Dual point-to-point winner ran a nice race here in March over 2m7f (soft to heavy) but has since fallen at both Tramore and Killarney and so has massive questions to answer currently. Cheekpieces on for the first time here.
Well beaten in 11 runs for previous trainer - including four over fences. Pulled up last time over these obstacles at Limerick (2m3f, good) 19 days ago and has plenty to prove now turned out for this new yard.
Ran decent race on handicap chase bow at Tramore in April (2m5f, good) though has since tipped up at Killarney. One-paced four days ago over timber at Listowel and hard to recommend on form.
Point-to-point winner at Boris House in December though has not posed any kind of threat in three chase runs under rules since. Beat 81L at Downpatrick on penultimate start and unseated rider last week at Tramore. Best watched for now.

Today's rider got a much-improved tune from ARANHILL RASCAL at Limerick last time out and while there was a hint of fortune in that success, he might well have got the job done regardless of his main rivals departing late on. He's got more on his plate now but it could be worth siding with horse rider to enhance their relationship in what isn't a strong contest. Killarney winner Dark Outsider has since gone well again at Tramore and should be competitive while Bellgrove wasn't far off the selection last time and may threaten the place money. Handicap debutant Kilna Shane is worth noting in the market while Soaring High would have a chance if the fences don’t get in his way again.
