Unraced third foal by Shirocco out of Chilly Filly, so bred for much further than this minimum trip. A half-sister to 1m juvenile winner Nordic Combined who should do better with time and experience.

Lost place from halfway on debut last week when ninth of ten to Roussel on good to soft ground at Leicester (5F). Cost ÂŁ36,000 as a yearling, but this son of Mayson and half-brother to Penny Pot Lane needs to take a big step forward.

ÂŁ16,000 yearling, a fourth foal by Assertive and a full-brother to the stables fair sprinter Kommander Kirkup. However, he weakened after racing prominently on debut at Ayr and that form has taken a couple of minor knocks since, but interesting to see if he can keep going for longer this afternoon.
Half-brother to Piper's Note and met a Royal Ascot bound opponent (Rajasinghe) when beaten 4½L into third on debut at Newcastle (6F) last month. Plenty of reasons to believe that was a strong race with subsequent impressive Pontefract winner Rufus King (fourth) and previous Godolphin winner Gold Town fifth. Down in trip, but soft ground a plus and should go well.

Placed on each of his three starts to date (all over this trip), and went down narrowly to Havana Star at Beverley latest. Cost ÂŁ56,000 as a yearling, but possibly lacks the scope to improve further in comparison to some of the less exposed types.

ÂŁ10,500 purchase and the first foal of a 5f winner (including as a 2yo), who is related to further sprint success. Nice enough pedigree, though the stable is not noted for juvenile success. Probably best watched, though precautionary market check advised. Non-runner at Hamilton on Wednesday.

Third, but beaten less than 1L on debut at Thirsk in early May (5F good to firm) by subsequent Newcastle winner Guzman, but didn't appear to progress on her second outing at Catterick a few weeks later. Receives weight from the colts, but needs to prove her effectiveness on the forecast soft ground.

Forecasts

Move It Move It (1/1), Rockin Fella (2/1), Maybride (5/1), Seen The Lyte (10/1), John Kirkup (12/1), Stopwatch (18/1), Charnock Richard (22/1), Burn Some Dust (33/1)

Verdict

MOVE IT MOVE IT looked certain to benefit from the experience when putting in good late work in a strong event at Newcastle recently. Whilst it is somewhat of a surprise to see Keith Dalgleish drop this colt back in trip to 5F, the soft ground should play to his strengths at a stiff track like Carlisle. Dalgleish saddled an Ascot bound juvenile winner at Hamilton on Wednesday, has another winning juvenile on the easy list (Cheeseandpickle), and there would appear to be every likelihood that this horse can progress from his debut and become one of the leading lights at Belstane.

  3. Rockin Fella
