Lightly-raced maiden made a fair first of things on first try at 5f around Kempton recently, could have more to offer if taking to Tapeta.

A former C&D winner for whom things have been a real struggle lately including 44 days ago when beating just one rivals home at Windsor (6f, good to firm).

Has been backed in couple of recent turf runs over this trip, including at Salisbury in first-time hood (discarded here) as he finished third last time. Yet to win on AW but by no means out of this.

Very poor here a fortnight ago when last of ten over C&D, cheekpieces on for first time now and needs a big bounce back.

Winner four times for previous stable but started a big price in three runs for current yard this year. Handicap mark is slipping as a result and now rated 4lb lower than when last successful on turf back in July.

Three efforts back from a break have been disappointing and doesn't make great appeal at these weights.

Former C&D winner has an impressive strike rate on the AW and shaped well here last month second of eight from 2lb lower rating.

Three wins in 37 turf starts, the most recent coming over 6f (good to firm) last June at Nottingham. She has gone backwards since then, but finds herself off a 9lb lower mark which makes her dangerous sporting a first-time visor.

Remains a maiden after 36 Flat runs, most recent of which brought 7½L defeat at Lingfield last month and has plenty on off current ratings to be competitive.

Six-race maiden, showed some promise in handicaps over 5f/7f here last year but was tame on reappearance at Southwell 64 days ago, sports cheekpieces for the first time now.

27-race maiden. Career best came at Chelmsford 18 months ago and hard to recommend against less exposed rivals following poor show over 7½f at that same venue 11 days ago. Not getting any favours at these weights.

Forecasts

Titus Secret (11/8), Forever Yours (11/2), Joaldo (8/1), Insolenceofoffice (11/1), Justice Rock (12/1), Captain Scooby (12/1), Secret Look (12/1), Classic Flyer (16/1), Goadby (18/1), The Perfect Show (28/1), Tamarin (125/1)

Verdict

Titus Secret has let supporters down a couple of times recently and is yet to score on the AW but there's enough juice in his handicap rating to merit consideration once more for this contest. Goadby is slipping to a dangerous mark while the same can be said of Classic Flyer, though both have something to prove right now. Insolenceofoffice went well here last month and commands respect but marginal preference is for the lightly-raced FOREVER YOURS who has scope for better after a good first try at this trip at Kempton.
  1. Forever Yours
  2. Insolenceofoffice
  3. Titus Secret
