Experienced campaigner who was having his first run for this stable when a distant third of three at Carlisle last month. Needs to step up considerably to get involved off top weight.
Showed improved form to win in first-time blinkers at Hereford in January, but the headgear has not had the same effect in two subsequent starts. The blinkers stay on and a 7lb claimer is employed to ease his burden.
Won his first two races after joining his current stable and was a long way in front of Gran Maestro when a close second to Idder at Carlisle last time. Runs off the same mark and his jockey booking suggests he is fancied by his shrewd trainer.
Lightly-raced over hurdles with one win from seven starts. Has been running without any great distinction on the Flat, but his good fourth in a competitive Sandown juvenile hurdle in April, 2016, puts him in with every chance in this company.
Fair Flat performer who got off the mark at the fifth attempt over hurdles when collecting at Huntingdon at the end of April. He has to cope with a 6lb rise for that success, but must be respected now he has got his act together at this game.
Returning from a lay-off when last of eight at Chepstow, but should be fitter this time and was in decent form this time last year when winning at Newton Abbot and second at Ffos Las. He is a bit higher in the weights these days , however, and has to prove he retains all his ability.

Quite a competitive handicap and one which is likely to see plenty of support for Trafalgar Rock given his profile and positive jockey booking. Ashoka, Our Three Sons and Not Never each have strong claims, too, but it may be worth taking a chance with SIKANDER, whose last piece of hurdling form against some talented juveniles reads particularly well.
