Survived a bad blunder at the third last when winning over C&D in July, last year, but has raced only three times since, including at this venue in April when a distant fourth of six. He is entitled to strip fitter for the outing, but is probably best watched until there is proof he is back on track.
Has had only five outings since his last success in October, 2014. He did run well at Bangor and Fontwell after a long lay-off, but his last three efforts have been disappointing and he needs to show more before becoming a betting proposition again.
Remains a maiden after 17 starts under Rules, but he hits the frame regularly and was a distant second over C&D in April. He started an even money favourite that day and could not get the job done, so this stronger race promises to be another event which passes by without a win.
Still without a win over hurdles and fences, but has finished runner-up four times over the bigger obstacles and went close to shedding his maiden tag at Plumpton in April. Not so good when third at Stratford last time, but he has been competitive off this mark and is one of the more convincing contenders.
Has a couple of course wins on his CV, but he is regressing as he reaches the veteran stage and his recent form figures tell their own story. Readily opposed.
Ended a long losing sequence at Plumpton in January and was not disgraced when switched to hurdles at Warwick last time. Back to fences, he has a rising handicap mark to contend with, but he may be able to cope with that and any rain would not be a problem.
Only 1-26 over fences and last time's unseating came after a handful of poor efforts. Looks to be on a steep downward curve and will do well to get involved.

A line can be put through one or two of these, but Yourholidayisover and No No Cardinal boast recent form which gives them every chance in a weak race. However, CODE OF LAW showed enough when a close second at Plumpton in April to suggest a first win is just around the corner and, with his capable jockey taking off 5lb, this looks to be an ideal opportunity.
