Tough campaigner and a regular in races of this nature. Has won off this mark as recently as January but his recent form has dipped below his usual standard. Good claimer booked for the ride and yard remains in good form, so no forlorn hope of coping with topweight.
Useful sprinter with winning form over 5f and 6f; and notable that he has been placed in each of his three previous visits to Ayr. Solid effort here last time out and the return to 6f holds no fears. Personal best required on these terms but one to bear in mind all the same.
Sound effort on return to action last month and from a yard riding on the crest of success at Epsom. This not quite so illustrious but within the reach of the six-year-old, who is still on a competitive mark. One for the shortlist.
Lightly raced and made a winning start for current yard at Thirsk in April. No impression in a hot race on handicap debut at York latest and has improvement to find. But still has scope to progress, so would be interesting if supported in the betting.
Went backwards after making a winning racecourse debut last year. Handicapper relenting a little but may need this after being absent since last November.
Finished well down the field in the Redcar Two-Year-Old Trophy on his last start for Hugo Palmer last season. Debut effort for his new yard came over C&D but offered little in the way of encouragement. Has a lot to find with The Mcgregornator. Others preferred.
Good effort behind a progressive sort over C&D last week brings him right into the thick of the argument. Sound claims if capable of dishing out a repeat dose.

The Mcgregornator (5/4), Muscika (5/2), Aprovado (15/2), Naples Bay (15/2), Tatlisu (8/1), Danish Duke (12/1), Star Citizen (33/1), Dawoodi (66/1)
Unexposed, The Mcgregornator makes plenty of appeal after a near miss over C&D last week. However, that is likely to be reflected in the betting, so there may be grounds for giving support to APROVADO who is also on an upward curve and has some decent course form to his name and may be good value tonight. Danish Duke doesn't have too much to find get involved, while Naples Bay would be dangerous to underestimate now he has been cut some slack by the handicapper.
