Started well over fences with three wins in his first five starts but without a win since the last of those victories. Looked on the way back of late though as the his mark slips towards his last winning one and he was well backed last time out when running a sound third to Days Of Heaven (winner again since).

Appreciated the slight ease in grade last time at Aintree and gets a further ease in grade here with the handicapper taking him back to a mark just 2lb below his last winning one. Prominent racer who likes to go from the front and while he looks in good form that won't be easy here in a race with a strong pace profile.

C&D winner off a 10lb higher mark although it's doubtful if he's in the same form now as he was then and looked disappointing last time out when failing to finish off his race at Kelso last time out. May be best watched here as he starting to show signs of being unreliable.

Be a surprise if anything in the race heads him early on as he loves to lead and did so returning to fences last time at Cartmel running better than he has for some while. While not representing a solid betting vehicle he could be on the way back after his Cartmel outing.

Has been in good form of latte bouncing back from a poor effort in January going 2112 in four subsequent starts the best of which was her Haydock win prior to her Cheltenham second on her last start. Made life hard for herself last time out as can go in snatches and likely to be off the bride at some point in this.

Winning chaser on three occasions last season with the last coming at Fontwell in March off a 4lb lower4 mark. Has not followed up that win though and has run two horrendous races jumping poorly and folding up quickly and that leaves him with questions to answer.

Often seen around here and has a very consistent record at the track but is on a long losing run and he often travels strongly and finds very little at the finish. More than likely to run his race but that weak finish gives you plenty to think about and the reason why he's still a maiden over fences.

Went through a real purple patch last year scoring a five-timer which was instigated over C&D off a mark of 79. Four wins followed before the handicapper took control over this previously temperamental sort who looks to have slipped back to his old ways.

Forecasts

Always On The Run (5/2), Indian Temple (9/2), Magic Money (6/1), Tornado In Milan (13/2), Dr Moloney (8/1), Easy Street (8/1), Witness In Court (9/1), Brave Spartacus (14/1), Formidableopponent (33/1)

Verdict

Not a race to get too involved in as a betting proposition with it’s fairly safe to say that quite a few of these have less than solid profiles. Always On The Run looks to be on the way back and can be included on the short list here while the same can be said about Brave Spartacus although he’s more than likely to get taken on upfront. Magic Money could grind this lot down by the end but she’s sure to be off the bridle at some point and it will be a matter of her grinding the other out of the way. The opposite looks to be true with Dr Moloney who travels but rarely finds anything for pressure and despite the pace pressure it may be worth taking a chance on INDIAN TEMPLE who looks to be coming back to his best form.
