Won well over 7f three starts ago but is also a proven performer over this trip. Is 4lb higher than at the time of that victory, and it may prove to have been a fluke, but he does have conditions his way here.
Ran well in a series of claiming races but resumed his losing streak in handicaps when making his first two appearances for this yard. Now hasn't won in a race of this type since July 2014, though he was rated 12lb at the time.
May have found the class of her last race too much to handle, and finds herself in a contest with significantly less depth now. However it is something of a concern that she has only won races in heavy ground over 7f.
Relatively lightly-race for her age but hasn't won a race since her debut, and her recent runs have been a touch disappointing given the help she's been given by the handicapper. Perhaps the return to fast ground will be the key to her.
Put some disappointing runs in maidens behind her to win on handicap debut last time, and as a result has been put up 7lb. That was probably to be expected, and is more than compensated for by her apprentice jockey. She should have a big chance of doubling up.
Has been running consistently well recently but is now 14lb higher than his opening mark just four races ago and his performance last time hinted that he could have found his ceiling in terms of handicap mark.

This is a handicap which lacks serious depth, and the obvious choice would be PATUANO. She showed she was on a lenient mark on handicap debut last time, winning by 1½L with something in hand, and was subsequently put up 7lb. However, her apprentice jockey has a 10lb claim in this race, meaning that she actually races off a lower weight here, with the young rider having shown he is a capable horseman with two wins from only eight rides so far. Golden Pearl should improve for the return to quick ground and is preferred next, ahead of recent 7f scorer Geological.
