Multiplex half-brother to a couple of bumper winners and yard capable of getting one ready first time out. Worth stealing a glance for any positive market moves.
Long odds and beaten out of sight on only start so far in Lingfield A/W bumper in February. Much more needed today if he's going to make an impression.
Yard has the occasional winner here. Sulamani gelding making racecourse bow and related to a couple of winners in NH sphere. Likely to benefit from the outing.
Ran nicely on debut in Cheltenham bumper in October then disappointed on soft ground next time out. Back on a sound surface this time and has better claims than many.
Favourite but pulled up on only start in point-to-point. Changed yard and makes debut for new connections. Not easy to enthuse over, although may have shown some ability prior to pointing bow.
Midnight Legend gelding makes his racecourse debut here for yard going nicely at the moment. Not ruled out in race with little strength in depth and wouldn't have to be a world beater to figure.
Unfashionably bred gelding making his racecourse bow. Represents a powerful yard in cracking form at present and the market will likely guide to the expected chance of this son of Getaway.
Cheaply bought Sulamani mare whose damw as a winning 2m chaser fromt he family of Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Jodami. Yard having a few winners lately and not ruled out of calculations.
Finished seventh of nine on recent debut, racing in touch until getting very tired late on. Better for the run, but expected to find at least a few too good in this event.
Forecasts
Mcnamaras Band (5/2), Mac Tottie (3/1), Tikanite (4/1), The Groovy Hoovy (9/2), Arctic Sword (11/2), Barcalona (20/1), Cul De Poule (25/1), Fair Frank (33/1), Grace Dont Wait (40/1)
TIKANITE caught the eye on his racecourse debut in a decent event then seemed to get stuck in the mud on his only subsequent start. Back on a sound surface he should go well at decent odds and may surprise the likes of newcomer Mcnamaras Band, Mac Tottie, Cul de Poule and The Groovy Hoovy, who all represent strong yards.
- Tikanite
- Mcnamaras Band
- Cul De Poule
