Competed in sellers and claimers with regularity over the past six months, and has won his last two starts in selling races for Patrick Chamings (7F & 1m at Lingfield). Went down narrowly to Black Dave in a claimer last week, and reverts back to handicaps having been claimed and joining a new yard.
Lightly raced, and just the five career starts so far (two in handicap company). Possibly struggled a shade since upped in trip (ridden with restraint), and this drop back looks a good move, and holds a chance based upon his previous form in maidens over this kind of trip. Stable could be in better shape. Rated 70.
Newcastle AW regular (most effective over 1m), and a runner up over that trip in March. Her trainer reported that the plan was to get her in foal (not confirmed but a distinct possibility) and she might have needed her run at Wetherby last month in a race that is already working out very well. Watch for market support.
A three time winner on the AW, but not at this track, although he has won here on the turf track which had identical contours. Races from a similar mark to what he won off at Chelmsford in February (1m) but largely out of sorts since. Riders claim helpful.
Goes well at Wolverhampton, but seemingly less so at this track (but did post a good second to Orion's Bow over 6F here in May 2016). Returned in excellent form this year with three sound efforts, so holds place claims once more.
13 race maiden, but returns to the scene of his nearest miss (neck runner up to Gypsy Major over C&D in November). Probably sharper for a couple of runs on turf and dropped 4lb with the cheek-pieces applied for the first time.
Lost his unbeaten record at this track (a dual previous C&D winner) when set plenty to do and staying on best from out of the pack (hung) to get closest to Table Manners over 1m here last month. This is a slightly stronger race, but from the same mark (61) is a major player.
Likes to dominate, and went close behind The Name's Paver at Thirsk in April (7F good). Raised 3lb since, and a non runner at Ayr on Wednesday, but a turf winner at this track (September 2015) and unexposed on the AW so possibilities.
Narrow Chelmsford winner in February 2016 (7F), but has been fighting a losing battle with the handicapper since. Signs that he has finally began to relent, but that has yet to result in an upturn in form. Newcastle debut.

Faintly (2/1), Wealth Tax (7/2), Kirkham (6/1), Barwah (7/1), Lucky Lodge (8/1), Chelwood Gate (14/1), Destination Aim (14/1), Hernando Torres (16/1), Sandstream (16/1), Cookie Ring (50/1)
FAINTLY had a valid excuse (set plenty to do) for losing his unbeaten record at this track last month, but there was plenty to like about the way that he stayed on from out of the pack to give chase to Table Manners. He's 2 from 2 over this C&D, and whilst this race is a grade higher, he should go close from the same mark (61). Wealth Tax is lightly raced and open to improvement now back over this 7F trip in handicaps, whilst it will be interesting to find out definitively as to whether or not Barwah is in foal, but she's a rock-solid likeable performer at this track; admittedly slightly stronger over 1m, but could prove well suited if the likely pace angle Destination Aim sets an end to end gallop.
