Sligo bumper winner in August, just the two starts over timber - falling first time - and well beaten on recent return at Down Royal (2m, good). More required.
Unable to strike any sort of blow in maidens at Limerick and Clonmel last month, latest over 2m3f, and has some improving to do now going up in trip.
Evidence of three runs over hurdles so far doesn't offer a lot of confidence that a breakthrough is imminent.
Only moderate promise in three bumper runs in October 2015, has been off the track for close to 600 days and relocated to this yard ahead of hurdles bow, tough task.
Little sign of ability in bumpers, finished third of 16 at Killarney (2m6f, soft) last month on hurdles bow but has plenty more to find having finished some 35L off the winner.
Boasts more experience than a lot of these, solid effort in Limerick maiden (2m3f, good) 12 days ago and further emphasis on stamina makes her a leading player.
Finished stone last and tailed off in a Limerick bumper (2m, heavy) in December on sole rules start, since joined this yard and hard to fancy unless markets speaks favourably.
Has some solid placed efforts over hurdles at a variety of trip already, no threat last month on return to action in a Listed Mares hurdle at Killarney (2m1f, good) but should have sound claims back in this company and up in trip.
Victorious twice in ten starts in point-to-points, decent run in a Tipperary bumper last month but will have to improve on one previous hurdles outing now switched and upped in distance.
Settled for second spot in both runs over timber this season, latest at Killarney over 2m6f last month. Sure to break through soon if continuing in that vain.
Has been underwhelming in two starts over hurdles to date, goes back up in trip after finishing tailed off over 2m1f at Punchestown recently. More needed from somewhere.
50/1 for hurdles bow at Tipperary last week over 2m on good ground, may improve from that run and will need more to get involved going up in distance.
Made hurdles debut over 2m at Punchestown last month, finished fourth of 22 but fully 35L off the winner. Goes up significantly in distance and will need to improve.
Beaten 55L in maiden hurdle at Downpatrick over 2m2½f last month on first attempt over obstacles. Much more called for to get competitive.
Filly out of Yeats has shown some glimpses of ability in three maiden hurdle runs so far, running best race over 2m4f at Wexford early last month. This trip should suit.
Forecasts
Open To The World (13/8), D'pinesflyer (9/2), Field Robin (5/1), Kings Dolly (11/2), Miss Sassie (11/1), Wiz Lady (12/1), Quinnsborotemptres (14/1), Chestnut Brave (20/1), Pat's Oscar (25/1), Something Sweet (33/1), Cashlane (50/1), Ask The Diviner (50/1), Baltic Black (66/1), Maureen's Star (100/1), Ellieod (100/1)
OPEN TO THE WORLD can count herself a shade unfortunate to still be running in this class. She ran a very fine race last time at Killarney and a slight drop in trip will do no harm her claims. A replication of that effort might well be enough to shed the maiden tag. Miss Sassie is going the right way while Kings Dolly and D'pinesflyer are others worth considering.
- Open To The World
- Miss Sassie
- D'pinesflyer
