Justified favouritism in a handicap hurdle over an extended 2m5f at Newton Abbot (good) last September and ran a fair race at Cheltenham when fourth of 16 subsequently. Put a poor effort in cheekpieces behind him when runner-up at Ascot (good-to-soft) in December and likely to run well again here.
Placed twice from 11 career starts including when 10L second in a selling hurdle at Leicester (heavy) in November 2014. Absent thereafter until well held in four hurdles starts for new yard in Ireland and makes his debut for latest stable today.
Sent off favourite when beaten 5L into second in a novice chase over 3m at Perth (good) last month. Odds-on for both victories over hurdles including over this distance at Wincanton (good-to-firm) 13 months ago and likely to prove hard to beat in first time blinkers today.

RAINY CITY finished runner-up at Perth when sent off favourite last time and he can get off the mark at the third time of asking over fences dropping in trip here. Nicky Henderson's Ballinure had some fair form over hurdles including when finishing fourth at Cheltenham last October and can take second ahead of Double U Dot Ede's who looks outclassed by his two rivals on all known form.
