Winner of this last year and won another amateur handicap here later in the year. Back on his last winning mark now and should go well again.
Latest win came in a seller at Windsor but generally better on the AW. Previous win was all the way back in 2014 so consistency obviously not his forte and looks a little long in the tooth now. Struggles generally in handicap company and tries a first-time visor today.
Has hit form again this year recording three wins at Wolverhampton since Christmas. Has won under this excellent amateur jockey before and still feasibly handicapped. Only one win on turf but he looks the one to beat.
Well beaten on all five starts to date and yet to place. Finished last of five at Brighton last time and appears to be regressing.
Just two wins from 30 starts and still above his last winning mark. Last of nine at Salisbury last time was a poor effort but may be better on softer ground. Can race keenly.
Won five races last year and she's back below her last winning mark again now. Not dismissed in a race as week as this and signs a return to form may be near last month at Kempton.
Only one win to his name so far and that came some while ago on the AW. Current form suggests that he is struggling off this mark.
Won seven times in his career but never won over this far. 1lb out of the handicap but not ruled out if he gets the trip on ground he's proven on.
Forecasts
Pink Ribbon (11/4), Gabrial The Thug (11/4), Strictly Art (11/2), Solveig's Song (11/2), Fairy Mist (8/1), Tarseekh (12/1), Knight Of The Air (16/1), Gaelic Silver (16/1)
GABRIAL THE THUG will be tough to beat under the excellent amateur jockey Simon Walker but Pink Ribbon may give him a bit to think about and he won this last year and has two wins at this course to his name. Fairy Mist and Solveig's Song can battle it out for minor honours.
- Gabrial The Thug
- Pink Ribbon
- Solveig's Song
