Verdict

Forever A Lady got the job done nicely at Carlisle last time but could find the 6lb penalty imposed is enough to ground her ambitions now. Titi Makfi is very much one to note on handicap debut from a respected yard but this might be the time to catch AMERICAN HUSTLE. He went well on reappearance last year at Catterick in similar conditions and has some decent placed efforts on turf. This isn't the toughest starting point for the new campaign. Arcane Dancer would have a chance on form if turning up having been engaged at Beverley yesterday.
