Has been in cracking form in four runs for this yard, tasting defeat only once. Scored readily in a Thirsk seller last time over 6f and ought to go well again.
Ten-year-old showed plenty enthusiasm on return from a break at Pontefract (5f, good to firm) though was much less encouraging since at Beverley. Is back on previous winning mark but may be vulnerable to younger rivals.
Poor form posted for Roger Varian last year and has been gelded since last seen in action. Hard to recommend on his first start for a new training establishment having beaten 15L over this distance in sole handicap run to date 367 days ago.
Potentially needed the run when returning to action after 257 days at Ripon ten days ago, is just 1lb higher than when winning over C&D a last May and isn't to be discounted easily in an open event.
Another veteran, he was just denied an 11th career win on his reappearance over C&D 13 days ago. He's up just 1lb and rises in class though certainly isn't discounted especially if granted an easy lead.
Ran no sort of race on seasonal bow at this track over 6f 13 days ago, quickly fading at furlong pole and coming home a long way in arrears. Was always liable to need that run and drop to 5f suits, but concerns linger for now despite dropping to a winnable mark.

Noah Amor (2/1), Jack Luey (5/2), Bronze Beau (9/2), Mitchum (11/2), One Boy (6/1), Bunce (12/1), First Rate (12/1)
Noah Amor has been in cracking form in four runs for this yard and ought to prove popular in the betting here. This is a tougher test for him however and his momentum might just get checked. Bronze Beau went very close over C&D last time and is much-respected as a result. He may want the lead once again to aid his case. Jack Luey would hold claims on a going day but this might go to top weight ONE BOY. Things didn't pan out last time at the Curragh but with 2lb now back in hand, he has decent claims if able to repeat last month's Musselburgh run.
