Has a tremendous record here, winning four times over 7½f and once over C&D, on heavy, good and good to firm going. The latest of those was last July, which was also his highest winning mark of 82, a mark from which has returns to for the first time since today. Has run with promise on both outings this season and should again go close.
Both career wins have been over 1m on good to firm and he showed his ability to handle this track when beaten just a neck over C&D (good to firm) at the beginning of the month, finishing 3½L ahead of Jacbequick. 1lb worse off, so should be able to confirm that form, which was also given a boost when the runner-up won next time. Player.
His one win from 12 starts was on debut in a Sandown auction maiden (7f, good) a couple of years ago when with Hugo Palmer. Joined current yard for this season and has twice showed up well over 1m, including at Ayr last time (good). Handles fast ground and is dropped 2lb here. Paul Hanagan booked for the first time and looks very interesting.
Well beaten from 4lb higher on his only previous try here, but has twice won at Redcar over 1m on going with good in the description since he came to Britain, both from today's mark and from 4lb higher. Has the ability to get heavily involved, although recent efforts not entirely encouraging.
Placed 10 times but still a maiden after 18 attempts. Best efforts have been at this time of year and was placed over 7½f here last May from 5lb higher. Just about sees out 1m2f, so this trip is no issue and either good or fast ground suits, so entitled to claims on paper at least.
Triple winner here, once over C&D and twice over a furlong shorter. Has won on good to firm, though most wins have been on good or easier ground. Makes debut for this yard today from 11lb lower than most recent win (August 2015) and with good pilot up and inside draw, he would be very interesting if supported.
Nine career wins from 1m-1m4f, the most recent being over 1m at Leicester (good to soft) last month from a mark of 67. 2lb higher today but thrashed from just 1lb higher than this one his last two starts. Would like a bit of rain to help his cause and has run well here in defeat before, so couldn't be ruled out if on a going day.

Forecasts
Palmerston (5/2), Zodiakos (11/4), Haraz (7/2), Jacbequick (6/1), Sunglider (8/1), Abushamah (9/1), Altharoos (11/1), Pivotman (25/1)
A competitive event and on in which the suggestion is PALMERSTON, the form of who's run here last time has been given a boost. All three David O'Meara-trained runners, Jacbequick, Haraz and Sunglider make some appeal, while Zodiakos is also a very interesting runner. Meanwhile, Mick Hammond saddles Altharoos at the racecourse for the first time since being in his care and support for the triple course winner would make him very interesting from a plumb draw.
