Very unreliable type who blew his chance at the start last time out when very awkward leaving the stalls having been difficult pre-race. That was his first run for this yard and although he has won in this grade before (and higher) his attitude makes him hard to trust.
Winner of his first three starts (a maiden and two handicaps) and has been rated as high as 103 in the past. Nowhere near that mark these days and hasn't won since those first three starts. Looked a little half-hearted in his last race at Nottingham over a mile although he does drop into claiming company for the first time and must be respected on his previous form.
The second runner in this fir the yard and although it's a long time since he won there are signs that he may well come good soon. Shaped well on his first start for the yard and may have found the ground too sift last time out. The 6f trip may not be ideal but the drop in class may see him return to form.
Capable but ungenuine may well be the best way to sum him up and he often gives himself a lot to do with a slow start. Ran poorly last time out after a seven month break but should be competitive if getting away on terms at these weights.
Has an awful lot to do at the weights having only a rating of 53 although this 6f does look his best trip and he should be suited by a return to the AW having disappointed on turf last time out.
Formerly a useful handicapper having with his last win coming off a mark of 87 but he's tumbled in the weights since then but shown little sign of taking advantage. Returns from a long absence here over a trip that looks short of his best and others are preferred.
Faces a massive task at the weight (only rated 42) and hard to believe that she can get involved at the finish against these opponents.

The one with the best chance at the weights here would be Vincenti but he can be slowly away and look a little awkward and others are preferred despite being at a small disadvantage at the weights. Pearl Acclaim looks capable of winning for his current yard but it’s another class dropper in PASSING STAR that is the selection. He may have looked a little tentative in the closing stages last time but this is easier and his past form would give him a sound chance here. Major Crispies has the form to win this but his attitude is questionable while Take A Note surely needs further than this 6f.
