EBF Stallions Cecil Frail Stakes (Fillies' Listed)

Has been brought along steadily, running just twice in each of the past two seasons and winning a Kempton maiden (6f, AW) in 2015. Sent off 9-1 but ran well to be third, beaten ¾L, in the Listed Kilvington Stakes (6f, good) at Nottingham on her reappearance a fortnight ago. Back to the well here and likely to be very competitive.

Won her first two starts in February 2016 and was placed in four Listed races last year over 5f/6f, her best being when a neck runner-up in Newmarket's Hopeful Stakes (6f, good to firm). Was 1L behind Bounce in the Kilvington on her most recent start but no reason why she can't get involved again at this level.

Another to have run in both the Listed Lansdown and Kilvington Stakes so far this season, beating several of these home when a runner-up in both and only beaten ½L in the latter when 20-1 and back up to this trip last time. Still appears to be improving and if that continues then you couldn't rule her out here.

Reeled off a hat-trick of handicap wins last summer on good/fast ground, going up 18lb in the process, though was comfortably held on her only previous try at this level on her final start in September (5f) when good to soft ground may not have helped. Yet to win when fresh but well worth another try in this grade.

Never out of first two in all seven starts, winning handicaps off the reel (all at 6f, on AW, good and good to firm) last summer to rise 22lb in the ratings. Last seen when beaten just a head in the Listed Boadicea Fillies' Stakes at Newmarket in October. Goes well when fresh and likely to be major player in this.

Did well to win a fillies' handicap at York (6f, good) from today's mark 11 months ago, forcing a step up in class that she has so far not managed to make, having been well held in two Listed and two Group Threes, plus a couple of class two handicaps since. Beaten 7L by Brando on her reappearance in the Abernant at Newmarket and others preferred.

Has won a couple of 6f handicaps on good/fast ground, including over C&D. However, well held behind Gravity Flow in the Boadicea last season and last of 16, beaten 32L and behind several of these in the Kilvington on her return. Looks to have plenty to do.

Won over this trip at Baden Baden (soft) in October and looks to have improved this time, judged by her ½L second in Listed company at Hannover last time out (6f, good to soft). Stable among the winners and she looks likely to be competitive on her first start in Britain. Unraced on ground faster than good.

Put together back-to-back All Weather wins over 6f at Newcastle and Chelmsford in February, but held from today's mark in a class five event last time and has a mountain to climb to be involved at the business end here on all known form.

Won on debut at Brighton last year (6f, good) before being placed in both the Group Three Dick Poole Fillies' Stakes (6f, good) at Salibury and in Listed company at Newmarket (6f, good). Held in both the Group Three Fred Darling and the Kilvington at Nottingham so far this time and probably needs to be back at her best to take this.
