Hinted at ability in point-to-points, but failed to win when sent hurdling and was only sixth, beaten a long way, on his chasing debut at Uttoxeter. May improve for dropping in trip, but certainly needs to do so off this mark.
Experienced chaser who has won four of his 17 starts over the bigger obstacles. Has run respectably on his last two starts, has been dropping down the weights and is now 11lb lower than when winning a novices' handicap chase at Wincanton in April, last year. Weighted to run a big race if in the mood.
Point-to-point winner and fair handicap hurdler, but his two previous attempts at chasing were poor efforts. He is only young so there is time for him to get his act together over the bigger obstacles, but confidence is limited.
Showed nothing over hurdles, but has been much better at this discipline and was winning for the second time over fences when successful at Ludlow in November. Has had a break since the autumn and may need the run, but he is more progressive than his rivals and is fairly treated.
Decent performer at his best, but his advancing years have been catching up with him and recent efforts make him hard to fancy against younger rivals.
Winning point-to-pointer, but only moderate form in four starts over fences. Has been dropped 7lb since finishing sixth of eight at Ludlow last time so he has an each-way shout.
Won a point-to-point in February, 2015, but has shown only hints of ability since then and was pulled up when last seen in a Hereford handicap chase in December. Readily opposed.

King Of Milan, Free World, More Than Luck and Market Road have major question marks hanging over them, so it may pay to concentrate on the other three runners. Welsh Designe has dropped to a feasible handicap mark and could have a say, while High Aspirations is also nicely handicapped and knows how to get the job done. He is feared, but he does not have the same potential to improve that SHOW'S OVER possesses and the latter is expected to be fit enough to score after his break.
