Medaglia d'Oro colt, third foal and a half-brother to 7f (AW) and mile winner World's Greatest. Made a fine looking start to his career at Lingfield last time over this trip. Form has taken a couple of knocks since though and he may need to improve to land this.

Showed promise in two starts as a juvenile and stepped up on those runs when runner-up in a Newmarket maiden last month. Went one better at Nottingham earlier this month and plenty to like about that effort. Holds Derby and Royal Ascot entries so clearly well thought of and step up in trip ought to suit.

Broke his maiden over an extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton in February. Had previously finished 2L third of six over 1m2f at Bath and worth a check in the market on handicap debut with the yard in such excellent form.

Career best effort when finishing a close third in an eight runner contest over 1m2f at Salisbury (firm) last month. More needed if he's to take this race however.

Verdict

It's hard to oppose OKOOL who has done very little wrong in two starts this year and could be even better over this trip. Atkinson Grimshaw looks feasibly treated on handicap debut and he comes from a yard that couldn't be in better form. It's no secret that Franny Norton rides this course as well as anyone and Voski shouldn't be ruled out after a winning debut.
