Has shown plenty of promise in being placed in four of her five starts, including when second to a potentially-useful Newmarket raider at Catterick last time. She should strip fitter for that first outing of the season and is likely to take a lot of beating.
Form in three runs is on an upward curve and her latest third at Chester gives her sound prospects. Has an edge on official ratings and the frontrunning tactics she employed last time would stand her in good stead at this sharp track.
Debutant who is a half-sister to 5f juvenile winner Sleeper King. Worth a check in the market, but faces quite a stiff task first time up against fillies with solid form.
Two decent runs as a juvenile preceded a creditable first-time appearance at three when third at Pontefract last month. Still showed signs of greenness there, so improvement is on the cards.
Forecasts
Aimez La Vie (11/10), Cheerfilly (2/1), Undiscovered Angel (11/4), Palace Ball (33/1)
Palace Ball makes her debut and should be watched for any support, but this will probably concern three fillies who have already shown a decent level of form. Undiscovered Angel displayed signs of inexperience last time and can improve, while Cheerfilly is likely to make a bold bid from the front at a track which suits forcing tactics. However, AIMEZ LA VIE can also race handily and she looked to run into a good one last time. She gets a narrow vote in an intriguing contest.
- Aimez La Vie
- Cheerfilly
- Undiscovered Angel
