Twice a winner on the AW including at Kempton in January. Yet to win in ten starts on turf but not beaten far when finishing third at Kempton last month and an interesting runner today.
Has shown little in five previous starts on turf. No excuses offered for a poor run last time but worth noting his form at Southwell has never been as good as elsewhere. Would be no surprise to see him bounce back with his yard in form.
Dual winner for Godolphin who has dropped 14lb since his debut for this yard last October. Tackles a new trip here and this is not particularly competitive. One to note in the market.
Bought for 110,000 gns during the winter as a full sister to the top-class US mare Proviso. Family have looked better over shorter but this filly is upped in trip having looked one paced in three maidens for Andre Fabre. Could be anything and the market will be informative.
Has won five races including four on the AW. Last victory was in January and he has paid a heavy price for scoring with plenty in hand. Now just 3lb higher in the weights and promises to be competitive in a weak heat.
Has won one race per year here over the past three seasons. Now a couple of pounds lower than the most recent of those successes. Looked unlucky in running last week and could well gain compensation.

Forecasts
Adjective (2/1), Tyrsal (2/1), Camakasi (5/1), What Usain (7/1), Best Example (10/1), Karam Albaari (14/1), Bergholt (20/1)
Course specialist TYRSAL has dropped below his last winning mark and looked to be coming back to his peak here last week. Adjective and Best Example are a couple to note in the market whilst Camakasi and What Usain would be threats if reproducing the pick of their AW form on turf. Bergholt continues to plummet down the weights and his form of a year ago from much higher marks would give him an outstanding chance in a race that will take little winning.
- Tyrsal
- Bergholt
- Camakasi
