Now in the veteran stage and can be a bit of a law unto himself and ran poorly last time out over a mile here. Has gone well for this rider in the past and his last win came for him at Newcastle on the AW over a mile.
Irish raider who broke his maiden at Wolverhampton in March over a similar trip when well supported in the market. Raced freely on that occasion (didn't have the clearest passage) and although he failed to follow up over shorter last time (well backed again) he still showed enough to be competitive again.
Last three wins have been gained here (five time course winner overall) and she's slipped back below her last winning mark now. Ran a creditable race last time at Musselburgh but always remains to vulnerable to improving sorts.
Always needs a strong pace to be seen at his best and may well get that with a few that like to go from the front. Ran a sound race to finish runner-up last time out and a good run from Arithmetic in the 4.50 would be a good pointer to his chance.
Cheekpieces now tried on this one who ended his 2016 campaign in good form; winning back-to-back races over a mile. Not come back in anything like the same form though and seems out of form this year.
Formerly trained in Ireland running over as far as 1m4f in three turf maidens at big prices. Now makes his handicap debut for a new yard and is of interest based on the stable change.
Five time winner on the Flat although the losing run is starting to get a little long now and ran poorly here last time out, none of the wins have come in blinkers.
Very much left the impression on his last start (handicap debut) that a shorter trip would be to his advantage. Still on a fair mark though and one of the more likely sorts in a weak race.
Last win came here over 7f when cashing in on a basement mark. 8lb above that mark now having run poorly and looking ungenuine last time out.
Modest maiden trained in Ireland who has been well beaten in her last three handicaps starts. Chance looks less than obvious stepping up in trip off a career low mark.
Regular performer at this course but even off a mark that is plummeting he's shown very little of late and ran far too free last time in first-time cheekpieces (retained here).
Trainer has done well with his runners here in the past although this front-runner has been below form of late and she has little to recommend her from 1lb out of the handicap.

This race went to Ireland last year and they saddle three runners this year with LUCENT DREAM very much the best of them and he can go close back on turf based on his Wolverhampton form. Without many potential improvers' in this Dark Crystalwould have a chance while Stoneboat Bill will show up well if they go a strong pace and he could well be coming fast and late. If there is a dark one in the field it would be Colour Contrast who makes his handicap debut for a yard who now exactly what to do with this type.
