Unplaced in two bumpers and five hurdles races, but has run against some talented rivals. Fourth of 11 in a handicap at Southwell last time, he races off a 3lb lower mark and has a 7lb claimer on board to reduce his burden.
Bumper winner in France who showed promise in the same sphere for Harry Fry. Has not shown a great deal in three starts for his current yard, but this is his first run in a handicap and he may yet be able to fulfil that earlier potential.
Has won both of his races over fences since joining his current yard. Tries his luck in a hurdle off a 9lb lower mark and has to be of huge interest given his current well being and form.
Won a novices' handicap hurdle at Bangor last August, but has struggled since and there was little encouragement in his last run at Towcester. Handicap mark continues to fall and cheekpieces are fitted for the first time so not entirely dismissed.
Has run only four times over hurdles and returned from a break on the last of them to post an encouraging sixth of 11 at Kempton. He stumbled and lost momentum there and can rate a little higher, so he is one to keep an eye on in the betting market.
Both his successes have come over fences at this track, but he is rated 8lb higher over the bigger obstacles so connections have opted to go back down the hurdling route. Not too effective when last tried over timber, but handicap mark gives some encouragement.
Odds-on winner of a maiden hurdle at Fontwell in September, but has gone backwards since and was pulled up at Stratford last time. She is slipping down the weights and has respected connections, but needs to show more to be considered a betting proposition.
The most experienced runner in this field with three wins - two of them at this venue - and 15 places in 45 starts over hurdles. He is only 1lb higher than winning over C&D in March, but has to shrug off a moderate performance last time.
Has shown only bits of promise in four bumpers and four hurdles races, but was not disgraced at Stratford on her latest start and is on a feasible mark. May outrun her odds.

Plenty of these are exposed, while one or two are slipping down to workable handicap marks. Not many are in particularly good form, though, but one who bucks the trend is LAKE CHAPALA, who has won his last two races over fences and tries his luck back at hurdling off a lower mark. It is too soon to be writing off Calling Des Blins, while Marmont has hinted at ability on more than one occasion and can step up on an encouraging run at Kempton last time.
