65,000gns daughter of Dark Angel out of a mare who has produced a few minor winners. Yard in form and have a 9-22 record with juveniles here.
Expensive purchase who shaped well here on debut in a race that has worked out well. Suspicion the ground was too quick when running below that level next time and demands respect.
Bought for £35,000 as a half-sister to four winners including Mandy Layla who was a good sprinter and won four races. Family seem to prefer quicker ground than is forecast here. Noted finishing strongly on debut at Ascot when Angel Of The South was behind. No doubting that was an encouraging effort but equally it would come as no surprise if conditions produced a different outcome.
By Dubawi out of a winning Australian sprinter. Half-brother was a dual sprint winner. Stable are having an exceptional season with their juveniles and the market has been a positive indicator of their chances thus far.
Fourth on debut at Lingfield when looking green in the early stages and finishing strongly. Sure to improve for the experience and clearly handles some give in the ground.
Trainer handled the sire and dam. Both were better suited to faster conditions than forecast. Yard are 3-8 with juveniles this term.
€10,000 purchase and related to a 7f winner. Stable are 7-100 with juveniles and others would appear to be more likely types.
Cost £60,000 as the third foal of an unraced dam who is related to Group Three winning sprinter Moon Unit. Yard have a 14-68 record with juveniles at this course.
Forecasts
Elysium Dream (9/4), Dathanna (5/2), Cardaw Lily (7/2), Angel of The South (7/1), Angel Islington (10/1), Little Miss Lilly (14/1), Reflect Alexander (16/1), Not After Midnight (66/1)
Angel Islington and Reflect Alexander hail from yards who do well with their youngsters at this track and are worth checking for positive signals in the market. DATHANNA is another newcomer to note given her yard's impeccable record with two-year-olds this term. The daughter of Dubawi has plenty of speed on the dam's side of her pedigree and it would be no surprise to see her add to the yard's recent haul of winners. Cardaw Lily shaped well on her debut but ground conditions are not certain to suit given her pedigree, whilst Elysium Dream was noted staying on well on her debut but this looks a stronger race. Angel Of The South produced a good effort here on debut in a race that has worked out well. She was behind Cardaw Lily at Ascot but, as her dam handled soft ground, it could be a different story this evening.
- Dathanna
- Angel of The South
- Elysium Dream
