Verdict

CLARA SORRENTO was outpaced at a crucial stage in a valuable 2m handicap contest around her last month before staying on admirably in the closing stages. If he can build on that finish now, with a longer trip in his favour, a second hurdles success may be in store for the Meade runner. Sword Fighter remains a bit of an enigma and while his recent Ballinrobe effort was a step in the right direction, he needs to keep improving. Westland Row was impressive at Downpatrick recently and may be more of a threat while Hidden Charmer is also entitled to mount a bid.
