3/1
Victorious on two of his last three starts including over C&D on good ground last month. Won easily on that occasion, but likely faces a softer surface today. Races off a career high mark following a 9lb rise for that success.

Cloudy Bob20
Age: 10|  Weight: 12-4| J: Thomas Greatrex(7)| T: P G Murphy| OR:  121| C| D
5/1
Goes well at Kempton and campaigned exclusively at that track in six starts in 2017. 5lb higher than when successful there in April (beat Bugsie Malone by an eased 5L; 3m good). Has won at this track from this mark in the past so respected.

Lost Legendv12
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-12| J: Mr J C Canavan(10)| T: J & A O'Neill| OR:  115| D
7/2
A seven time career winner, but has lost the thread in recent years, and is now 22lb lower than for his last success at Bangor in October 2015. Held from this mark the past twice, including when third for this rider at Ffos Las earlier this month.

Emerald Rosep29
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-11| J: M D Grant| T: J S Smith| OR:  114| CD
4/1
C&D winner in November (beat the subsequently progressive I Just Know by 11L), and certain to be suited by any easing in the ground. Not able to scale those heights since, but dropped 3lb with a better run expected at a track which suits.

William Moneyt24
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-10| J: Alan Johns(3)| T: Tim Vaughan| OR:  113| BF| D
11/4
Notched a hat-trick over hurdles and fences, and recorded three runner up efforts in six starts since switched to this yard. Taken full advantage of an easing in the weights, but the handicapper appeared to have his measure at Taunton latest. Drops in trip and respected, but others better handicapped now.

Forecasts

William Money (11/4), Ultimatum Du Roy (3/1), Lost Legend (7/2), Emerald Rose (4/1), Cloudy Bob (5/1)

Verdict

Course form can prove an asset at Market Rasen, and both Ultimatum Du Roy and EMERALD ROSE tick the boxes in that respect. The former has been raised 9lb for his latest emphatic success, but any significant easing in the ground can prove to his detriment. For that reason, and with the forecast considered, the mare Emerald Rose gets the nod at likely decent odds to bounce back and follow up her November C&D success.
  1. Emerald Rose
  2. Ultimatum Du Roy
  3. Cloudy Bob
