Won a 7F claimer on the Flat for Richard Hannon in July 2015, but yet to taste further success despite a string of placed efforts. Off since racing on the Flat in September 2016, but does have experience of this track over hurdles (novices) and tries handicap company for the first time rated 111.
Ex Irish, and remains a maiden. Not disgraced on either of his two starts for this trainer, in novice and maiden hurdles, but they were far from competitive heats and this handicap is stronger.
Off the mark at the eighth attempt at Taunton last month (good to firm) when a 2¼L winner of a maiden hurdle. Races from the same mark (105) in a better race, but any significant rainfall would be a concern.
Has plenty of form with cut, but finished behind Cappielow Park when third to Centurius at Ludlow in early March. Finished a fairly distant third to Stepover when last in action at Southwell last month and needs to do more despite being dropped 2lb.
A three time winner over hurdles and well suited to some give in the ground as demonstrated when a 6L runner up to Master Vintage at Leicester in January. Less productive lately but slipping in the weights and conditions should hold few fears.
Beaten just over 7L when fourth at odds of 80/1 in a 2m4f handicap hurdle here in March (good). Found the switch back to the Flat against him since and worth another try over hurdles, but others appear far likelier winners.
Previously a 41 race maiden, but has improved beyond all recognition since switched to this yard and is now two from two over the course of the past week. A ready winner at Plumpton last Sunday, he followed up even more impressively under a penalty at Sedgefield on Tuesday, and undeniably well ahead of the handicapper will surely land the hat-trick despite forecast softer ground.

A golden opportunity for TOO MANY DIAMONDS to make it a seven day hat-trick and remain unbeaten since switched to Dan Skelton. He downed his rivals with ridiculous ease at Sedgefield on Tuesday and is well ahead of the handicapper despite carrying a double penalty. Perhaps the only real concern is a significant easing of the ground, but even then he should still be far too good for these rivals on these terms.
