Cost €40,000 and appeals as one to improve as she gains in experience. Lots to like about her debut effort over C&D and should be in the mix again this time around.
Played up before the start on her debut at Navan and possible that she failed to do herself justice as a result. Her dam won over this trip and no forlorn hope of repeating the feat. One to bear in mind if supported.
Plenty of winners in her pedigree and posted improvement from her debut when she finished third behind a well-fancied stablemate at The Curragh last Sunday. Noteworthy she turns out again so quickly and adds more spice to an interesting little contest.
Shown she has the speed to cope with the minimum trip but, as she is related to a handful of useful performers over longer distance than she will encounter here, she is probably best viewed as one to watch with an eye on the future.
Behind Damselfly and Casino Red at Navan last month and has a lot of work to do in her bid to reverse the form.
Her dam was more effective over a longer trip, so safe to assume this filly be better suited by a sterner test of stamina; best watched first time up.
Swapped hands for £10,000 as a yearling and has already shown she has a likeable attitude; she readily out-fought Could It Be Love to finish second at Navan and will be difficult to master if she is in a more determined frame of mind; sound claims.

Forecasts
Could It Be Love (15/8), Angelique (9/4), Yolo Star (11/4), Damselfly (12/1), Feadan (14/1), In The Dip (16/1), Casino Red (18/1), Rhythm Of Love (18/1)
ANGELIQUE fared well in a more valuable race than this when out-gunned by an Aidan O'Brien-trained hop-pot last time out. Sure to have benefited from the run, she may have too much in the locker for Yolo Star and Could It Be Love, who renew acquaintances after their encounter at Navan last Sunday. The former looked the more determined on that occasion and may again prove to be the sternest opponent here. Casino Red may also have more to offer but she needs to handle the preliminaries a lot better than she did on her debut.
- Angelique
- Yolo Star
- Could It Be Love
