Improved effort last time out and has proved himself capable over the trip. Has to be considered as a contender but looks destined for modest handicaps after this.
Cheap purchase but has speed on the sire's side, so feasibly he can figure over sprint distances. Others look more glamorous on paper though.
Dam won over 6f as a juvenile and was a half-sister to a good number of winners. Yard doing well just now, so certainly one to watch with an eye on the future.
Very little impact on debut and already has something to prove. A step up in trip will beckon when she goes handicapping. Hard to fancy over this distance on the evidence of her debut.
Cheap purchase and bred to be effective over further than this. Likely to be best watched this time around.
Forecasts
Sioux Nation (2/11), Yulong Warrior (4/1), Tahan (20/1), Drombeg Dream (28/1), Lucia's Bob (66/1)
Aidan O'Brien had a strong entry for this race at the five-day stage and it's noteworthy that SIOUX NATION flies the flag for the Ballydoyle operation. The Scat Daddy colt has come up against some potentially useful rivals already and will be hard to master on that evidence. He is unlikely to be a stable star, however, and there is hope for connections of Yulong Warrior, who is related to plenty of winners and may give the selection a stern test. Tahan makes more appeal than the rest over this trip and may the best alternative at longer odds.
- Sioux Nation
- Yulong Warrior
- Tahan
