Still held chances when falling two out against a useful rival in a match race at Trecoed (good) on Sunday. Remains a maiden after 30 starts however and likely to find a few too good in this.

Successful twice this season including at Badbury Rings (good-to-firm) in a three runner contest last month. Subsequently weakened into fourth late on at Littlewindsor (good) and this drop in trip should suit.

Twice a winner in point-to-points but record over fences reads 0/7 including in a military riders event over 3m at Sandown (good-to-soft) in March. Likely to find a few too good in this.

3/1
Winner of a point-to-point by 15L at Cothelstone (good-to-soft) in early April and narrowly beaten when second subsequently. Interesting runner and any overnight rain would liekly enhance his chances.

12/1
Winner of his last two outings including on his penultimate start over 2m4f at Charing (good-to-firm) last month. Latest success came on good-to-firm ground at Parham and he may surprise a few better fancied rivals today.

Spencer Moonp4
Age: 9|  Weight: 12-0| J: Mr Byron Moorcroft| T: Kieran Price| OR:  97
5/4
Winner of four of his last five starts including over 3m at Trecoed (good) on Sunday. Sole defeat in that run came when finishing third in a highly competitive renewal of the Dunraven Bowl at Chepstow (good-to-firm) last month and he is likely to play a leading role in this.

Shes A Gangsterp25
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-7| J: Mr Bradley Gibbs(3)| T: D Gibbs| OR:  93
8/1
Maiden after 19 rules outings for previous yard in Ireland but off the mark at the third attempt following two pulled up efforts when winning at Cothelstone (good-to-soft) in March. Subsequently pulled up at Lydstep and worth a check in the market here.

Forecasts

Spencer Moon (5/4), Creative Inerta (3/1), Cooladerry King (6/1), Boygojumping (6/1), Tom Barton (6/1), Shes A Gangster (8/1), Letskeepit Simple (12/1), Honourable Exit (12/1), Ballet Marbleless (50/1)

Verdict

TOM BARTON ran well when finishing runner-up in at Stafford Cross last time out and he can make a winning debut over regulation fences here by getting the better of Dunraven Bowel third Spencer Moon here. Letskeepit Simple and Boygojumping are others worth noting in this with preference for the former having won at Parham last time out.
  1. Tom Barton
  2. Spencer Moon
  3. Letskeepit Simple
