Pete Brown 65th Birthday Mares' Handicap Hurdle

Won on her first start for her current yard when successful at Fontwell in January and gained her first win since at Fakenham last time. Due to go up another 4lb for that effort so leading claims under a penalty if she turns up in the same form.

Bounced back to form at Newcastle last time on handicap debut and a 6lb rise looks a little lenient. Ground may not be quite as quick if the rain keeps coming but not dismissed in her bid for a double, particularly if she settles better.

Fortunate winner at Wincanton in December when booked for third, but the front pair fell at the third last. Not shown a lot since then either, finishing well beaten at Warwick before being pulled-up at Plumpton last time. Plenty to prove.

Built on his promise at Stratford on her penultimate start with a win at that same course last time. Should carry on progressing upped in trip with plenty of stamina in her pedigree and not dismissed under her penalty.

Well beaten on all three starts before finishing position of second flattering her last time at Taunton (beaten 26L). Looks far from straightforward, often racing keenly and jumping poorly and her mark looks stiff on what she's achieved. Step up in trip needs to see her in a better light.

Just two wins from 24 starts but won a firm ground contest at Taunton last time. Will need more in this contest and that was yards only winner for over two years.
