King's Theatre mare, cost €36,000 back in 2015 and sold for more than double before rules debut. Won sole point start and leading claims in this line up.
Kayf Tara mare well beaten on both outings so far. Should do better but may need this run having not been seen since August, having yard debut.
Mr Dinos mare who is bred to want further than this trip on debut but any market support should be noted.
Brian Boru mare, half-sister to Falcon Island who won over this trip. Dam was a half-sister to the useful Queen Of Spades so could go well if tuned up for this.
Shaped as if in need of further when finishing sixth on debut at Wincanton in December. Improved for that effort with a promising third last time and may have done better if she had settled in better in the early stages. Will have learnt from that and should go well again.
Appeared to be struggling when falling on only point-to-point start when weak in the market and finished last of eight on rules debut last time. Stable are without a winner since June 2014 and hard to fancy. Wears a first time hood.
Midnight Legend mare, related to a point-to-point winner and her dam was unraced. Makes very little appeal on rules debut.
Black Sam Bellamy mare, dam was an unraced half-sister to French Listed placed Samapour. Plenty of speed in her pedigree and may enjoy this test.
Pulled up on point-to-point debut when sent off at 20/1 and has more of a Flat pedigree than NH. Interesting if she stays.
Midnight Legend mare and a full-sister to jumps winner A Shade Of Bay. Well beaten on debut but much better at Towcester last time. Not dismissed in follow up bid but will probably want further than this given time.
Sent off at 66/1 on debut at Fairyhouse last month over 2m4f and didn't threaten to outrun her price. Down in trip and opposable despite an eye-catching jockey booking.
Oscar filly, half-sister to winners Midnight Jazz and Stepover. Dam was a bumper/2m winner and has a nice blend of speed and stamina in her pedigree. Interesting runner if ready to go for her debut.
Oscar filly bought for €15,000 last year and plenty of promise on both her starts this. Should go well and not ruled out if ridden more prominently.
Shirocco filly well beaten on both her starts so far. Likely to do better with time and others preferred unless market says otherwise.
Forecasts
Annie Angel (9/4), Drinks Interval (5/2), Oscar Star (5/1), You're A Lady (7/1), Coded Message (12/1), Samarayia (14/1), Another Sunshine (14/1), A Three Eighty (20/1), Touch Of Velvett (25/1), Kiwi Myth (25/1), Cheyona (25/1), Shiroccodee (33/1), Dolly Boru (50/1), Katy May (66/1)
ANNIE ANGEL looked an exciting prospect on her rules debut and she looks capable of further progression on her debut under rules. You're A Lady is a well related sort who will probably want a little further than this but should give another good account after a fair effort at Towcester last time. Oscar Star has run well in a couple of bumpers and shouldn't be ruled out if she improves for those efforts.
- Annie Angel
- You're A Lady
- Oscar Star
