Has plenty of improvement to uncover following for starts in this sphere if he's going to have designs on a breakthrough.
Kalanisi gelding is bred to do well in this sphere, owner/trainer doesn't have many but operating 15 per-cent strike rate over hurdles previous 12 months. Disappointing effort on debut at Fairyhouse 31 days ago, has improvement to find.
Won final French start on the Flat, that was more than 700 days ago however, has joined this leading yard for jumps career and must be treated with utmost respect despite long absence.
Lightly raced but has a bit to find on the evidence of three spins over hurdles at Clonmel and Thurles so far, needs to improve.
Well held in two starts over timber, latest 199 days ago in a maiden at Galway over this sort of trip. Big task here.
Recent run at Dundalk possibly too bad to be true, has it all to prove based on bumper run at Limerick last July, finishing last of nine. Hurdles bow.
Pulled up in a point-to-point in February, well beaten in all three starts in that sphere and gives him plenty to do if hoping to be competitive on first rules start.
Sole hurdles run came in April 2015, well beaten off over 2m at Fairyhouse. Recent AW run at Dundalk over 2m may help with fitness for 21-race maiden under rules.

Scorpion filly from a small stable, was tailed off over this trip at Cork earlier in the month on debut run, might have something more offer second time out.

DELTA WORK made a fine start at Cork recently for the Gigginstown team and it will be no surprise should he get the job done now granted normal improvement. His chief rival looks to be French import Herminio, representing the champion trainer and jockey combination. It is more than 700 days since he last raced, but his master-handler is unlikely to leave any cobwebs on and he should be watched carefully in the betting. Unwanted and Chesterfield Queen are amongst those that might run into places at much bigger prices.
