Capable of some useful form in the past but of late he's as though he's gone backwards and was pulled-up last time out. The positive here is that he drops in class and that may well help him come back to life.

Thriving since he was switched back to fences and took three handicaps on the bounce all as favourite. Winning spree came to an end at Market Rasen when he ran into a useful sort in Pawn Star and faces a much easier task here.

Verdict

Not a race that is overflowing with progressive types and the only one that you could slot into that category is ROCKNROLLRAMBO who was denied a four-timer by an improver at Market Rasen recently. The rest of them have mostly seen better days although a dropped in grade with a stable back in form Cernunnos may be interesting. The other three all have negatives attached with Muckle Roe having had jumping problems and Renard not looking an easy ride.
