Plenty to like on paper and was strongly-fancied to make a winning debut over 7f at Musselburgh recently but was very green and disappointing. Clearly thought capable of a lot better and too early to be writing off.
Promise shown in both runs on the AW over the winter and plenty to like about his turf debut when just edged out by Firefright over 7f at Doncaster (good to firm). Sets the standard here, obvious claims.
Refused to go in the stalls at Nottingham first time and only modest form shown in two subsequent starts, most recently over an inadequate 6f at Redcar. Looks one for handicaps later on.
Cost €75,000 as a yearling but has more of a middle-distance pedigree and wouldn't appear an obvious one to oblige at the first time of asking.
Changed hands for €95,000 as a foal and is a half-sister to three winners, including the smart 1m winner North America. Yard adept a readying a newcomer and this one has to be respected unless the market suggests otherwise.
One of two representatives from the yard and probably not enough in her pedigree to suggest she is the first choice. Market should guide.
Friendless in the market and soundly beaten in both starts to date over 6f and 7f and no obvious reason why she should suddenly get competitive here.

Mountain Angel (8/11), Gloriosus (3/1), Undiscovered Angel (3/1), Liquid Gold (4/1), Daira Bridge (13/2), Azaly (12/1), Super Ruby (20/1), Inshiraah (25/1), Zone In (50/1), Zarkavon (150/1)
Roger Varian has an excellent strike-rate at Beverley and his improving MOUNTAIN ANGEL (his only runner on the card) should take plenty of stopping having already gone close in two arguably stronger events. The biggest threat may emerge from Richard Fahey's newcomer, Liquid Gold, though it's hard to believe there isn't much more to come from Gloriosus after an inauspicious debut at Musselburgh.
