Verdict

TANDEM caused something of a shock to win on return at Tipperary last month on the back of a long layoff, when apparently the Weld second string. He's got Smullen on board this time and there appeared to be no holes in that comeback win. He isn't to be underestimated in the quest for a follow up. Santa Monica is likely to leave her reappearance run at Gowran Park behind but she has yet to win on turf and might be left holding place money only. Love Potion could be up to reversing Cork form with Island Remede while Tipstaff is also to be respected in an open event.
