Belied odds of 40/1 when finishing runner-up in a hot race at Cheltenham last time. Split a pair of 130+ rated horses that day and unlikely that he meets anything of that calibre in this. Yard are continuing to fire in the winners at an impressive strike rate.
Half-brother to a couple of winners in France. Dam was a winning chaser. Likely to want softer ground than forecast and a longer trip.
Trainer has done well with other members of this family so only a matter of time before this one adds to the winning tradition. Looks the type to improve now going jumping although it is worth noting his relatives have preferred some cut underfoot.
Well beaten in both bumpers so far. Dam loved soft ground so it has to be doubtful the forecast conditions will produce the necessary improvement.
Cost €70,000 as a three-year-old and is the first foal of a winning hurdler and point-to-pointer. Winner of a Southwell bumper on his track debut and not disgraced under a penalty in three bumpers since. Interesting hurdling debutant with trip and ground looking just about right.
Bought for €50,000 as a two-year-old and is a half-brother to three winners; Carries Darling, Hello Sweetie and Close Shave. Dam won eight races in France. Ran as though something was amiss on debut a year ago and pedigree clearly indicates he could be a nice type in time.

Forecasts
Blairs Cove (2/7), Ramonex (10/3), Cogburn (5/1), Oski (6/1), Midnight Magic (25/1), Rat A Tat Tat (33/1), C'est Du Gateau (40/1)
Cogburn and Oski have both shown enough in bumpers to suggest that they are capable of making their mark over hurdles. On this occasion they find themselves up against a particularly useful sort in BLAIRS COVE. Dan Skelton's Irish import ran to a mark much higher than will be required to win this when runner-up at Cheltenham a month ago in a race full of previous multiple winners. Ramonex took advantage of weak opposition and an underperforming favourite to score last time. This promises to be a lot harder under his penalty.
