Consistent sort in Irish Point-to-Points, and a winner over 3m at Aghabullogue (soft) in January. Again showed her well-being when a runner up early last month and has since joined this trainer. Wears a hood.

First foal by Presenting out of Lady Hillingdon who herself was a 2m to 2m3f hurdle and chase winner. Trainer saddled a bumper winner at Carlisle on Thursday so worth noting for market support on debut.
Irish Point-to-Point winner who showed promise on her bumper debut but ran too freely on her subsequent start at Carlisle. Not disgraced behind a Nicky Henderson trained winner at Cheltenham on better ground last month, and with a leading rider booked figures high on the short-list on her final start in bumpers.
€3,500 first foal by Doyen out of an unraced Dam (Dew Drop). Looks the type who will prove better with time and experience.
Tenth foal by Presenting out of Hannigan's Lodger who makes her debut for a much respected trainer. Sister to winners Leave At Dawn and Present Lodger, and a half-sister to Shuh Shuh Gah (won a bumper for this trainer). One to note.
Unraced second foal by And Beyond out of Coldwells. Has plenty of stamina on her Dam's side (3m1f chase winner) and her trainer isn't generally known for winning these type of races.

Daughter of Milan who cost €14,500 as a three-year-old in August 2016. Outpaced, but stayed on when fourth of twelve to Urca De Lima at Uttoxeter on debut last month (beaten approx 13L). Leading rider booked and a rare runner here for this trainer so respected on slightly faster ground with improvement anticipated.

Made the frame on debut at Kelso in February (heavy) but well beaten last time on good ground at Musselburgh. As a half-sister to a bumper winner and a daughter of another one, she is not one to write off yet and a market check is advised.

Forecasts

Fencote Belle (15/8), The Wicket Chicken (2/1), Sensulano (9/2), Bridane Rebel (13/2), Dancing Amy (16/1), Kiltormer (18/1), Western Lass (25/1), Beyondperfection (33/1), Newtown Belle (40/1)

Verdict

With over 50% of the field being newcomers, there isn't a great deal of previous form to go on in this mares bumper. Sensulano catches the eye for Noel Williams and is capable of improving upon her recent Uttoxeter debut fourth. The likes of Kiltormer and Fencote Belle are debutants from stables to respect in bumpers, whilst the ex Irish trained Bridane Rebel has her first start for Jennie Candlish. However, preference is for the most experienced runner; THE WICKET CHICKEN. She has her fourth and final start in a bumper and she's demonstrated more than enough ability on a couple of occasions to be capable of winning a race at this kind of level.
  1. The Wicket Chicken
  2. Sensulano
  3. Fencote Belle
