Point-to-point winner in Ireland in 2015 but off the track for over a year prior to finishing third on his bumper debut at Southwell in November. Off the mark at Huntingdon in that sphere last time out and carries a penalty for that success today.
Keen on each of his two outings so far and beaten 6L over 2m at Huntingdon (soft) on the most recent of those two months ago. Hails from a leading yard but likely will need to settle better if he's to take this.
Beaten 9½L when finishing sixth of seven over an extended 1m5f at Towcester (good-to-firm) on his debut in a bumper last October. Steps up in trip here but probably best watched at present.
Shaped like a non-stayer when pulling up in a point-to-point at Mollington on debut last month and not given a hard time when again pulling up at Garthorpe later that month. Has the same pilot on board today and worth a check in the market.
Unraced gelded son of Roderic O'Connor purchased cheaply for €3,500 as a yearling in 2014. Half-brother to winning hurdler Root Cause and some useful Flat winners. Probably best watched on debut.
Unraced gelded son of Montmartre who was an expensive purchase for €125,000 as a two-year-old in two years ago. Likely to run well here for a yard with a 17% strike-rate here in recent years (31/182).
Unraced Marienbard gelding bought for €38,000 in August 2016. Half-brother to useful staying chaser Blakemount and likely to prove better suited by further than today's trip in time.
Twice finished fourth in bumper races so far. Latest of those came on soft ground over an extended 1m7f at Southwell in March and likely to prove better suited to the good ground forecast here.

CRESSWELL LEGEND was an expensive purchase following a point-to-point win in Ireland in April 2015 and can follow up his bumper success at Huntingdon last time out by seeing off the newcomer Pretty Obvious in this contest. Second Time Around has run respectable races on each of his two bumper outings so far and he can get the better of Witham to claim third place today.
