Not seen out since last October but was improving at the time, and form of win over The Wealerdealer has had a couple of boosts since. Likely conditions fone and although up another 5lb, chances if fit after the break, with the promise of more to come.

Almost a year since last seen out when given the race in the stewards room here at Worcester, but every chance this new trip will bring out more improvement in him. Yard going well and good jockey booking, so has to be on the shortlist.

Has looked less than in love with the jumping game at times, and recent efforts have done little to dispel that impression either. Not beaten far last time, though, but does need to prove this trip suits as well as shorter. Too many questions to answer.

Stays this trip and handles quick ground fine, so no issues on those scores, but had lost the plot when last seen out. Blinkers go on today and reverts to hurdles, and although well handicapped if they do the trick, simply looks too risky to be considered.

Came back to form with a bang after a short break at Bangor recently, springing a 22/1 surprise and winning with a bit in hand. No issue with 8lb rise but up in trip today and not certain of getting it.

Has looked a bit short of pace on his four starts so far, so this step up in trip may well suit (and breeding gives hope of that as well). Not disgraced on latest effort and goes handicapping on a fair mark. One to consider.

Best efforts to date have come on soft/heavy, so quicker conditions would be a concern, as would the trip, as again best efforts have come at shorter. Tailed off on latest start and simply too much to prove at present.

Did win a couple of handicap chases (from higher marks) last season and likely quick ground fine, but question mark over suitability of trip and and after a lifeless effort at Bangor recently, connections go for the cheekpieces. Well handicapped if they work, but balance of evidence suggests winner is elsewhere.

showed his first real form when a winner at Chepstow on his latest start, the first time tongue tie seemingly doing the trick. Up half a mile in trip here, which asks a new question, but first two were clear at Chepstow and no saying how much more improvement he will find again.

No win on the board since 2015 but on the plus side, best effort of last year came over C&D when second to Thoonavolla. Poor efforts since but switch back to better ground may help, and may outrun likely big odds here. Not totally written off from low handicap mark.

Forecasts

Gingili (7/2), Charlie Cook (7/2), Redbridge Miller (9/2), Rockchasebullett (7/1), Rainbow Haze (10/1), Bite The Biscuit (11/1), Frampton (12/1), Mere Anarchy (16/1), Exotic Friend (16/1), Way Of The World (20/1), Buckontupence (20/1)

Verdict

A few of these have something to prove at the trip, but there are no such qualms with top weight GINGILI who looked right back to form with Johnny Farrelly on his last three starts and if fit after his break, can continue where he left off. Charlie Cook was another improver when last seen and the step up in trip looks more suitable for him than it does a few others. Rainbow Haze looks to have lost the plot but these conditions are ideal for him and he could reward each-way backers.
