Beaten a short-head when runner-up over 2m5f at Tramore (heavy) in a beginners event at Tramore in December. Placed twice over hurdles since but pulled up on handicap debut in this sphere in December.
Beaten 4¼L into third in a nine runner contest over this trip at Ballinrobe (good) earlier this month. Sole chase success came back in 2014 but remains of interest in this contest.
Fell at the first at Tramore last time out and well held in four previous starts since finishing third at Thurles in March last year. More needed to figure today.
Finished third off this mark over 2m at Tramore (yielding) last month. Unseated his rider at Ballinrobe subsequently and an interesting runner with a top jockey booked to ride here.
Beaten a head off this mark in a six runner race over 2m2f at Clonmel in November. Well beaten at Kilbeggan over 2m4f last time out and this drop in trip looks likely to suit.
Successful off a 7lb lower mark over 2m2f at Thurles (good) in October 2016. Well beaten off this mark at Naas subsequently and worth a check in the market on his first start of 2017.
Successful three times on the Flat and once over hurdles so far. Making his first start in more than a year when last of 19 finishers at Down Royal in December and probably best watched with cheekpieces returning here.
Winner off a 6lb lower mark over 2m2f at Clonmel (yielding) in November 2016. Well beaten twice since including at that same track on heavy ground in February and probably best watched today.
Beaten 7L into second at Down Royal (good) over 2m in November. Well beaten twice on softer ground prior to a better effort when fifth on good ground at Ballinrobe earlier this month but have to go back to November 2013 to find his last success.
Yet to place in nine career starts including when finishing a 44L last of five at Wexford (soft-to-heavy) in March. Probably best watched today.
Finished third in a first time hood at Down Royal in January and followed that up by winning at Downpatrick (good) over 2m3f in March. Races off a 5lb higher mark and likely to put up a bold show once more.
Placed twice from nine starts over fences including when 31L third of five as favourite on heavy ground at Clonmel last time out. Worth a check in the market today.

MERRION ROW registered his first success over fences when winning at Downpatrick in March and he can follow up by taking this 2m1f handicap chase here. The selection had previously finished third at Down Royal in January but with the ground and trip likely to suit he can register his third rules success today. Afatcat finished a decent third at Ballinrobe on his first run of the year earlier this month and is taken to finish third ahead of the top weight Cahirconree who placed over hurdles last time out.
