Forecasts

Afatcat (4/1), Merrion Row (5/1), Cahirconree (6/1), Bellgrove (6/1), Hard Bought (7/1), Blackwater Bridge (8/1), Ballyfinboy (12/1), The Shepherd King (16/1), Deano (16/1), Shouband (16/1), Killare Castle (20/1), Raydari (50/1)

Verdict

MERRION ROW registered his first success over fences when winning at Downpatrick in March and he can follow up by taking this 2m1f handicap chase here. The selection had previously finished third at Down Royal in January but with the ground and trip likely to suit he can register his third rules success today. Afatcat finished a decent third at Ballinrobe on his first run of the year earlier this month and is taken to finish third ahead of the top weight Cahirconree who placed over hurdles last time out.
  1. Merrion Row
  2. Afatcat
  3. Cahirconree
