Usually competitive up to marks in the mid-80s and has taken advantage of a slide in the weights to win his last two. Escapes a penalty for the latest of them. Tough competitor and if in the same form he will be hard to beat.
Fabulous old servant who has 12 wins to his name over this trip, though his powers have been on the wane since his last turf win in 2015, claiming just one more success on the AW at Chelmsford in October. Only just held when dropped to this mark at Musselburgh last time and no reason why he can't repeat that effort.
3-46 and a bookies favourite with no win in almost two years and 28 starts. Has only dropped 10lb in all that time and was beaten just a head from this mark at Newcastle in November. New trainer now tries to impart his influence and a market check is suggested to gauge confidence after a break.
1lb higher than when scoring at Beverley last summer and has gone up 1lb for going close back over that C&D last time. Should again be very competitive.
All five wins have been at this trip, with four of them from higher marks including the last of them, at Doncaster in June. Should be better for his reappearance run and a 1lb for this along with a different type of headgear might see him go very close.
3lb higher than when winning on AW at Wolverhampton in November, having also scored over today's C&D last August. While those are positives, he does look thoroughly exposed from this mark on his turf form and may find a couple too good.

Forecasts
Bosham (11/4), Oriental Relation (11/4), Silvanus (3/1), Pearl Acclaim (9/2), Compton River (12/1), Flash City (14/1), Lexi's Hero (14/1)
Lexi's Hero drops in class for the first time in three years and if Patrick Morris has him straight enough then he could take some beating, while the old man Silvanus still looks capable from this mark and is respected. There are positives about Pearl Acclaim, Bosham and Flash City, though a competitive heat for its grade could rest with ORIENTAL RELATION, who escapes a penalty for his latest Pontefract win and can complete a hat-trick

- Lexi's Hero
