No match for the well-handicapped Bertie Boru when last seen at Exeter in March and is a hit-and-miss performer who is capable of going close in this company. Prevailing ground conditions are a slight worry as he seems to prefer cut.
Allowed to get his own way in front when winning at Warwick last time. A 4lb rise is not prohibitive and he is likely to make another bold bid with trip and ground to suit.
Sixth of 10 in a much stronger race than this at Haydock last month. Not getting any better at the age of 11, but is slipping down the weights and underfoot conditions should be fine.
Dual winner at this track, but has looked regressive and there was little encouragement to be derived from his last race at Lingfield in December. At least the forecast good ground is a positive.
Made several mistakes before being pulled up in better company at Cheltenham last time. These easier fences and drop in class should make things easier and his previous second at Warwick gives him a squeak.
Four-times course winner who has been out of sorts in two starts this year. Stepping up markedly in trip and has a chance off this mark if the stamina test is to her liking.
Has rather lost the plot since finishing second in a quite valuable event at Market Rasen on Boxing Day. Two pounds lower and, given his proven stamina, is one of the more likely contenders.
Has shown very little this season but, as a result, has dropped to an extremely lenient mark. Needs to show signs of a revival to warrant support, but it would be no surprise to see him feature if on a going day.
Solid stayer, but one paced and tends to find one or two too good. Has not won since March, 2015, and perhaps needs to drop a few more pounds before it his turn again.
Had been running in point-to-points before returning to handicap company at Exeter last month. Although last of three there, he was beaten under 3L and, with stamina assured, could be a danger off bottom weight.

Hard to be dogmatic about any of these, but there is no doubt Dreamsofthreatre is well handicapped if able to get his act together. There is no guarantee of that, though, so the selection is BIG CASINO for whom both trip and ground look ideal. Queen Spud is interesting stepped up in trip, while Talk Of The South can figure if cutting out jumping errors.
